Lori Lipsky teaches voice and piano at the Aboretum Music School in Waunakee, Wisconsin.  She lives with her husband, one dog and one cat. Their two young adult daughters are in an in-and-out-of-the-house stage of life.

Lori’s poetry has been published by Penwood Review, Flutter Poetry Journal, Everyday Poetry, Poppy Road Review, Bolts of Silk, Four and Twenty, Creative Wisconsin Magazine, a Handful of Stones, Mature Living Magazine, Pegasus Review, Camel Saloon, Sparkbright and other publications.

The arts, history, travel, nature and relationships are common themes in her writing.

Lori is a member of Friends of the Pen (a local critique group), Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets, Wisconsin Writers Association, Wisconsin Academy of Science Arts & Letters, and the Academy of American Poets.
