I live near Madison, Wisconsin with my husband. Our two daughters attend college and return home between terms.
We are dog people living with a cat for the first time. Our youngest daughter convinced us to take in a rescue kitten, and here we are a year later. A few times a week, when he’s in the mood, he sits on my lap, and that is my reward.
My poetry has been published by Penwood Review, Flutter Poetry Journal, Everyday Poetry, Poppy Road Review, Bolts of Silk, Four and Twenty, Creative Wisconsin Magazine, a Handful of Stones, Mature Living Magazine, Pegasus Review, Camel Saloon, Sparkbright and other publications.
The arts, history, travel, nature and relationships are common themes in my writing. My poems written in first person are not necessarily autobiographical.
