Lori Lipsky teaches voice and piano at the Aboretum Music School, Waunakee, Wisconsin. She lives with her husband in the Madison suburb, about a mile from the school. Their two young adult daughters are in that in-and-out-of-the-house stage of life.
Lori’s poetry has been published by Penwood Review, Flutter Poetry Journal, Everyday Poetry, Poppy Road Review, Bolts of Silk, Four and Twenty, Creative Wisconsin Magazine, a Handful of Stones, Mature Living Magazine, Pegasus Review, Camel Saloon, Sparkbright and other publications.
The arts, history, travel, nature and relationships are common themes in her writing.
Lori is a member of Friends of the Pen (a local critique group), Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets, Wisconsin Writers Association, Wisconsin Academy of Science Arts & Letters, and the Academy of American Poets.
